Anthology Of Urban-Themed Fiction

Great news on the fiction front: a commission to co-edit - along with esteemed journalist/author/all-round-Good-Egg Joe Shooman - an anthology of "urban-themed" short stories. The idea - our idea - is that we bring together a range of music writers/musicians and offer them the opportunity to put their imaginations to work outside the (often tedious) constraints of the music industry. The only brief is that the stories are relevant to an 'urban' audience.

We're aiming to have a mix of established, high-profile scribes, some of whom have already published novels, and complete newcomers to the genre. There wil be around 20 stories in total, to be published by Pheonix in October 09. Some of the stories may well be serialised before then, so watch this space for more info as well as a confirmed list of contributors.
